Membership, Registration and Tennis NSW.

There are two main types of membership of Avoca Beach Tennis Club;

Annual Member - new account fee of $20, annual fee $5, bookings at member rates
Casual User - no joining fee, no annual fee, bookings at casual rates

Junior Member accounts, Group accounts and other special purpose accounts are available on request.

For new membership click register to create an account. Fill in the online form to create a Casual User account, it will allow bookings (at casual rates, provided there is sufficient credit in the account). For Annual or Junior membership, follow up the registration with an e-mail to the treasurer. Fees charged for bookings made in the interim will be adjusted to member rates.. You can also ask for a second or group account on your membership.

ABTC is affiliated with Tennis NSW so when you register you get the benefits (including insurance) of their membership. MyTennis

Playing

Courts gates will be unlocked from 6am to 10pm, just turn up and play. At the end of your booking please be considerate to users waiting for you to vacate the court.

Courts Lights

Court lights must be switched on when required and they should be left on when you finish unless you are the last booking. The switch is on the wall near the toilets and a timer will prevent the lights from running past 10pm. In holiday periods a time slot at 10pm may be offered. If late time slots are not offered a request can be made by email to the treasurer

Facilities

The tennis facilities include; two courts and club rooms, toilets, a tennis practice court with basketball ring and light, an outdoor shelter and a covered barbeque area. The barbeque area is suitable for small group or family functions. It is available for use in tennis hours and is shared with the public, as is the practice court. ABTC asks all users to leave the facilities clean and tidy. The practice court light switch should always be turned to the off position unless the light is being used.

Use of Club Rooms

The rooms are for the use of Tennis members only and should be kept locked at all times. Access is by a PIN code, which is published on the website at Club Room Locks There are also personal codes available on request. If you are the organiser of a group or expect to use a room regularly please send an email to the treasurer.

Committee

ABTC has a voluntary committee to manage the courts on behalf of Gosford City Council. Fees collected are used to maintain the courts. Use the Contact link to find out more.
